30th CLASS REUNION
Saturday, August 23rd, 2008
For many classmates, the school tour was the first return visit since Graduation Day, June 2nd, 1978.

Francis Scott Key High has since undergone massive renovations, moderation and growth.

The classmates were "surprised" to be greeted by teachers and staff throughout the tour. The teachers arrived early and were stationed within the vicinity of their former classroom or office.
WOW!!!

What an awesome reunion event! All the reunion attendees deserve full credit for making this event so memorable. Thanks!

Following the FSK school tour, over 140 classmates, teachers and guests gathered at the home of classmate Jan Roop Stambaugh and her husband Charlie. Classmate Terri Aberts Ferguson's catering business; "Put On The Feed Bag" cooked up a delicious meal of pit beef, smoked ham, fried chicken and all the trimmings.
The setting spilled over with FSK's school colors; red, white & blue, from table linens to festive centerpieces and favors.
THE Low Down...

Mr. John Seaman; Principal of FSK welcomed everybody and shared highlights of FSK's 50th Anniversary Celebration.
Homecoming Queen Dana Pearce Wertz cut the reunion cake and special birthday wishes were blessed upon Mr. Francis Smith's 83rd Birthday.
Don Ebaugh was the Master of Festivities and presented survey findings from classmate questionnaires. "Senior Superlatives" were recognized in addition to Class of '78 Carroll County Sports Hall of Fame Inductees; Kim Duppins-Stanton, Jim Hyson & Teresa Arnold Yapps.
A heartfelt Memorial Tribute was presented in memory of our late
Principal; Mr. Louis Beard.
School memorabilia, news clippings, photo's, slide show, colorful bulletin boards
and attire was all on display for all to enjoy and reminisce.
Throughout the day, tunes from the 70's were played in the background.
The mood was set and everybody took advantage of renewing long lost friendships.
As the sunset, all the stops were pulled out and the Karaoke songs
commenced into the wee hours of the morning.

IT WAS SIMPLY AWESOME...for those who did not attend, you missed a great time!
